28 local firefighters from across all of Kittitas County’s Fire Districts are raising money for Blood Cancer United! So far they’re doing really great — they are in the top 10 of 303 teams worldwide in terms of overall fundraising!
But they’re hoping to be Number One! This all leads up to the big stair climb event happening March 8, 2026 at Seattle’s Columbia Center where they will climb over 1,300 stairs, in full turnouts and gear.
We had a great evening with them on Saturday, January 31, broadcasting live and getting the word out. There will be another pint night on Saturday, February 21 from Noon until 8pm at Whipsaw Brewing in Ellensburg.
