KXLE has been located at 1311 Vantage Highway since 1946. There’s definitely some nostalgia in a place that’s been part of our community for generations. But the reality is, that building was designed for a different era of radio.
We’re excited to announce that our offices and studios are moving to the Brothertons Building, 109 E. Third Ave Suite 5 in historic downtown Ellensburg.
Although our AM tower and transmitter site will remain at 1311 Vantage, by the time we learned the Ellensburg Rodeo was purchasing that property and that the tower site could stay intact, a lot of pieces were already in motion. Leases had been signed, plans were finalized, and construction was already underway on the new space.
This new studio is right-sized for today and puts us in the middle of the community we serve every day.
